About Us

Benjamin Go - Physiotherapist

Ben established Macquarie Sports Physiotherapy in 2000 after spending 6 years in the public sector where he served as a senior in orthopaedics and outpatients.

Ben graduated from Sydney University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) degree, and then earned his Master in Health Science (Sports Physiotherapy) in 2000. In 2018 Ben was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University, working with the university's postgraduate physiotherapy and medical programs.

Ben has been involved at an elite level with netball, and currently is appointed as physiotherapist to Eastwood Ryde Netball Association and the ERNA Hawks. With a keen interest in sporting injuries, he applies a diagnosis first approach to physiotherapy. Ben is an NSWIS accredited service provider.

Ben is actively involved in cycling, particularly mountain biking and as a member of Western Sydney Mountain Bike club he competes in club cross country races. Recently Ben has been offering a Bike Fitting service utilising real time motion analysis. He enjoys music, tennis, golf and spending time with his 2 boys and wife being active outdoors.

Jonathan Bae

Physiotherapist & Rehabilitation Specialist
BChiroSc DPT

Jonathan is a Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Specialist with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University.

He has worked closely with national-level athletes in basketball, swimming, fencing and triathlon. His love for teaching movement with intent is his focus to help you recover faster, and return with confidence to sport or everyday life.

He begins by understanding the challenges affecting the progress of his patient’s goals. This shapes a thorough assessment and allows him to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

Jonathan takes a practical approach to treatment, using soft-tissue techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and dry needling to reduce pain and restore movement. The real progress is found in enhancing your understanding of movement - intentional and structured strengthening and rehab that eliminates the guesswork which has a direct effect on achieving milestones in your treatment plan. Jonathan's guidance aims to inspire a journey of exploring and discovering your own love for movement, and before you know it - you're back to enjoying a strong healthy life!
